Zoo and Afrykarium
During your winter holidays, you cannot miss the Wrocław zoo and the Afrykarium on your list of places worth visiting. The Afrykarium complex is the world's only oceanarium, which introduces African flora and fauna. The facility covers an area of 1.5 hectares, holds 15 million litres of water, has 21 pools and aquariums, which are inhabited by over 12 thousand animals representing more than 1100 species. Today, Wrocław's Afrykarium is one of the biggest tourist attractions in Poland.
Hydropolis
Another attraction worth visiting during your winter holidays in Wrocław is Hydropolis - a place where multimedia, interactive installations and technologies show the potential of water in cities, deep waters, the atmosphere and the human body! In Hydropolis you will take a trip to the ocean depths, see giant aquatic animals, watch unusual hydro-technical devices and learn about the history of waterworks.
Kolejkowo
What other attractions are waiting in Wrocław during the winter holidays? Another point on the map is Kolejkowo. It is the largest railway model in Poland with a total area of 260 m2, which presents the most interesting places in the region. You can see the Świebodzki railway station, the buildings of the Wrocław market square, the meteorological observatory on Śnieżka, the mysteries of the Karkonosze in Karpacz or the Szwajcarka mountain hostel in the Western Sudetes.
The mock-up also features scenes from the lives of locals, skiers and tourists. The mock-up consists of 162 buildings, 2,300 human and animal figures and 430 metres of track. There are 15 trains running non-stop on the 430 m long track. Interestingly, the Europeum Hotel can also be seen on the map!
Wrocław Puppet Theatre
During the winter holidays, the Wrocław Puppet Theatre offers numerous performances aimed at the youngest audience members from the age of one. The performances take place both in the mornings and afternoons. After the performance it is worth going for a walk to the fabulous Old Town Park located right next to the Puppet Theatre.
Movie Gate
A unique place for cinematography and the art of illusion lovers. Original props, costumes and much more straight from the film sets of the world's greatest productions! And all this is located in a real, very well-preserved World War II shelter.
Bridge of Penitents

There are three indoor ice rinks in Wrocław: in Spiska Street, Śląska Avenue at the Municipal Stadium and Wejherowska Street. Each facility offers the possibility to rent equipment and helpers for the youngest. And who doesn't love skating? You can meet people of all ages at the ice rink - not only children and teenagers, but increasingly also grandparents with grandchildren. Children can start skating from the age of three, and it's never too late to learn to skate.
Aquapark Wrocław
Why not spend your holidays in Wrocław's Aquapark? A tropical atmosphere and plenty of attractions await you - numerous swimming pools of various depth and temperature, slides, jacuzzi, lazy river and artificial wave. There is also a sauna, a sports pool and a fitness club with a gym. The facility is open 7 days a week.
Rope climbing park
The only year-round indoor rope climbing park in Wroclaw and Lower Silesia. The route stretches over the trampoline hall and consists of 9 tracks of varying difficulty. Between the obstacles you can meet stingrays, orcas, jellyfish and sharks. Doesn't it sound intriguing?
